There's nose art, door art, gun muzzle art, and many other types of art found in an A-10 squadron. Here's one more type to add to the list, A-10 engine art. Everyone wants their work to stand-out and be something they can be proud of. Art has also been a medium to help achieve this goal and has also been used to make something which would otherwise be just like hundreds of others, a bit more personal. The men and women of the 110th Fighter Wing, Battle Creek engine shop has done just that. They have added art to the "expansion" of the A-10s TF-34 engines which they maintain. The art has meaning in most cases and I'm working to get the background on the images below but, for now just enjoy the art form known as A-10 engine art.
